Who we are......
We are Sam Lewis and Jean Spencer. Sam has been a piano
tuner/technician and refinisher since 1975. Jean also started
refinishing in 1975.
We specialize in all aspects of piano and furniture repair, refinishing and restoration. We are a high quality, low volume shop, meaning that our priority is a first class job that will make you proud for years to come. Everything is done here on site by one or both of us. That's how we keep the quality high: We do it all, and our names go home with every piece we do for you. Some of our satisfied clients are Vince Gill and Amy Grant, Brenda Lee, ASCAP and BMI Nashville, dozens of area churches, noted songwriter-producers Billy Sherrill and Michael Omartian, Steinway Piano Gallery, Shuff's Music, and Claude P. Street Music, among many others. |

Our mission......
To provide careful, thoughtful repair, refinishing, and restoration services. We do virtually everything by hand, from the stripping of the old finish to the final hand rubbing of the new finish. All mechanical work on pianos is done here on site by Sam, who started playing professionally in 1968, and has 45 years of playing experience.

We have the experience.......
We gently strip the piece if needed (we do not "dip strip"), color it as needed, and then spray several coats of lacquer, hand sanding each coat until the final coat, which is hand rubbed to anything from a soft satin to a high gloss finish as desired. |
